This blog is an account of my first attempts at knifemaking over the past couple of years. I started like a lot of people did -wanting a quality hunting knife and not being satisfied with the run of the mill import products and not having enough cash to buy a custom one. New Years Projects
I am back in the shop whenever I get the chance , I currently have 3 projects on the bench, a small bowie/fighting style with a hidden tang and mild steel guard as well as a hunter skinner set that I hope to sell together in a double sheath I plan to make . I purchased a knife vise from Cresent Knife Works with the proceeds from my first sale, it works very well and can be used for a variety of purposes .. see link to view
